House of the Week

1850 Historic Brick Victorian
425 Mulberry St - Lake Mills
$239,000

A beautiful brick Victorian house built in 1850, with 2,208 finished square feet - only $239,000! Makes me wonder what condition the house is in - any reason why I can't find any interior pictures on the internet? Either way, this house looks sweet. Built by Robert Fargo, original owner of Bank of Lake Mills. As one enters, you'll notice the grand marble fireplace as the focal point of the living room, along with its massive woodwork, antique light fixtures and hard wood floors. The massive woodwork continues in the kitchen and features floor to celing windows, with french doors opening to a screened-in porch. 3 bedrooms finish off the main level. The upstairs has been converted into a 2 bedroom apartment. If you work in Madison and your spouse works in Milwaukee, then this might be the house for you - call me and let's check it out!
